Learning to Build and Pilot Drones
DaVinci Tech Camp for Teens Drone Pilot camp is a fun, hands-on interactive one-week learning experience. Each participant will have an opportunity to explore and learn about the world of drones. This camp is tailored to small groups and teens close in grade and age. The goal of this camp is to increase their knowledge and appreciation of STEM-based careers through learning how to build and pilot drones.
Drones or UAVs have been increasing in popularity, creating a whole new industry and many different uses for them. They are not only extremely fun to fly, but they can take amazing photos and videos from the sky that would normally be impossible to get. Unfortunately, not many people know how to safely operate them, let alone use them to their full capabilities.
In this 5-day course, Nick Berliner, the founder, and CEO of the drone videography company The Caelus Camera will teach the basics of flying and building a drone. From the rules and regulations to safety and emergency procedures to the multitude of camera and sensor options, students will learn exactly what it takes to be an expert UAV pilot. Nick will even go into depth about where drones are going in the future, and how to prepare for the societal changes that these machines will soon be causing.

Nick is the Founder, CEO, and Lead Pilot of The Caelus Camera, a drone videography company with an impressive list of clients, including, Fentress Architects (the architects who designed the Broncos stadium and the Denver airport) and Uber.
At 21-years- old, Nick has started 4 different companies, has traveled the world, speaks 3 different languages, and likes snowboarding. He has helped out with multiple startups in not only the business development side but the networking side as well.
